Available departures

  • Day 01: After the arrival in Kathmandu (1300 meters), our staff will meet you at the airport and escort you to the Hotel followed by your own free saunter around there in the local market, Thamel. Dinner and night stay at a Kathmandu hotel.
  • Day 02: Breakfast in Kathmandu followed by guided sightseeing to the Pashupatinath Temple, Budhanilkantha and Doleshwor Mahadev in Bhaktapur .Back to hotel for packing and program briefing with a documentary of Kailash for your comfortable trip to Kailash & Mansarovar.
  • Day 03: Kathmandu to Nyalam Drive (3700 meters - 160 kilo meters) - This is the first day of the Yatra. After breakfast, the departure starts from Kathmandu in Nepal to Tibet border on a private Tourist coach. It takes about 5 hours to reach Nepal-Tibet boarder. Take lunch in Nepal side in Lipping nearby Nepal Tibet Friendship Bridge. Our staff will complete customs formalities, immigration in Nepal side and check into Tibet side an autonomous part of China. After checking, we drive to a Zhangmu as known Khasa Bazaar by Nepali, here we halt for about 10-15 minutes and drive to a small Tibetan town called Nyalam in a Van / Toyota Hiace or Deluxe bus. The Nepali cook makes vegetarian food for all the travelers. Overnight stay in a Guest House / Hotel in Nyalam
  • Day 04: In Nyalam, after Breakfast, we climb up to Nyalam city for about for 1.5 hours for
  • acclimatization. Come back for lunch. Complete leisure after lunch.
  • Day 05: Drive to Dongba from Nyalam (4500 meters – 365 kms). After breakfast, drive from Nyalam – Lalunga La pass 5050 meters, Peku Tso Lake, Salt Lake (Nunilo Tal) & reach Saga city after 6 hours drive. On the first day, long drive from Nyalam to Dongba through the sandy & rocky lands of Tibet. Here you find the Nomads who look after thousands of sheep & yaks. Day time, we take hot lunch box for our yatri, traveler & we stop for lunch near Pekhu Tso Lake or somewhere. After lunch continue drive to & cross the Bhramha Purtra River (Sangpo) the way to Tibetan city Saga. Saga city is a bigger city having many facilities way to Kailash & Mansarovar Yatra Tour. Here we will rest and shortly drive to Dongba which takes not more than two complete hours to Saga (115 kms). There we spend a night at a comfortable Hotel.
  • Day 06: Dongba - to Mansarovar Lake (4580 m). Some 370 kilometers is to be covered in not more than 6-7 hours. After breakfast we drive from Dongba to Mansarovar Lake. The day starts with full of excitement, by the afternoon as you can have the first sight of Holy Kailash Parbat and Mansarovar Lake from Horchu. For lunch, we make hot lunch box and on the way we stop for lunch. After Lunch we continue the drive to Mansarovar Lake reaching Horchu, a small village near Mansarovar Lake. Now we start the rotation of Mansarovar Lake and complete it in about 2-3 hours time. However, Mansarovar Lake is so big that it takes 3 to 5 days to make one rotation on foot. The circumference of the Lake is 102 Kilometers. There are 8 Monasteries all through the circumference of the Lake. Finally we reach Chiu Gompa, near Mansarovar Lake.
  • Day 07: Mansarovar Lake to Darchen (4600 meters – 40 kilometers drive.) In the morning, we will choose a special point to take a deep dip in Mansarovar Lake taking bath in cold water. According to Hindu religion, is seen offering water, flowers, money to the God and after the prayers to Lord Shiva & Parbati. The pilgrims are seen meditating in Lord Shiva and reciting the names of their ancestral gods, performing the homas (offering grains mixed with purified butter to the fire) in the name of gods, in order to relieve themselves from any kind of sins which they might have committed knowingly or unknowingly. After completing the homas, they are exchanging happiness by hugging, much to the amusement of the onlookers. Everybody is doing Aarati (oil-fed lamps) and praying by joining hands.
  • The entire day is devoted to spiritual activities. We take lunch at around 2:00 in the afternoon and drive to Darchen to spend the night at a guest house. Astapad excursion also can be made by the interested pilgrims at this place.
  • Day 08 : Drive from Darchen to Tarboche (Yamadwar -gate for the god of death) & 5 minutes further drive & it comes Sershong, from here starts walking to Dirapuk (4890 meters - 15 kilometers ) – Monastery. Here some yatris can take pony & local porter for 3 days. (If you take pony & porter) You should tell in Mansarovar Lake and Tibetan guide will be managing all before starting the Kora. If you take pony for round Kailash, much and much easier for doing Yatra Tour, this is the first day of Kailash Parikrama. We should start our journey after breakfast as early as possible. This day, we have to walk continuously for about 5 to 6 hours. Yak will carry all our goods and equipment, From Dirapuk, You can see Mt. Kailash north face is much closed, looks Shiva god staying there. There we stay at Dirapuk mud house.
  • Day 09: Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk (4790 meters - 22 kilometers Drive) - Today is very crucial and we have to pass Dolma La or Dorma La Pass, which is 5636 meters above the sea level. The weather in unpredictable in Dolma La Pass and at any time snowstorm can begin. So we need to try to start our journey as early as possible. On the route we can have the Darshan Ganesh Kund before passing it and after Gauri Kund as well as but it is a little bit difficult to go down split walking path and reach Gauri Kund Lake. From Dirapuk, slop climbs up & up until we reach Dorma La pass, after the pass we need to go steep down till Shapje Datok & after flat path till Zuthulpuk monastery. Night stay will be at a mud house.
  • Day 10: Zuthulpuk to Mansarovar Lake: after breakfast we walk / Trek down to the Chongdo about 3 hours and drive to Darchen where we take Lunch followed by the drive to Mansarovar Lake for overnight to see full moon.   • Day 11: Mansarovar Lake to Nyalam: Drive to Nyalam, which is the last night stay in Tibet part. It takes around 7-8 hours.
  • Day 12: Nyalam to Kathmandu – After breakfast, we drive to Zhangmu & Friendship Bridge Tibet – Nepal boarder. After customs & immigration formalities or clearance at both Tibet & Nepal sides, we will be picked up from the Nepal side by a Tourist coach & continue the drive to Kathmandu for about 5 hours. Our lunch will be on the way or on early arrival in Kathmandu.
  • Day 13: Transfer hotel to airport for final departure
