Makalu Arun Valley Mera Peak Trek
The Makalu Arun Valley sight : Mt. Everest, Makalu, Chamlang, Baruntse, Melungtse, Amadablam, Thamserku, Pumori, Tower Peak, Mera Peak, KusumKanggru, Kanchanjunga etc. Most Attraction of the trek: Different Community with majority of Sherpa, Tamang, Chhetri, Brahamin, Newar and Great Himalayan Landscape .
It is really a non touristy area but we can see enthralling views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, and hundreds of other mountains just before your eye. Sherpa, Rai and Limbus are the main inhabitants of this region.
The Arun Valley, east of Everest, leading to Makalu Base Camp is least visited by tourists like Nepal’s far west regions. Trek to Makalu also can be made shortcut by taking direct flight to Tumlingtar, a small village located on a plateau. The trek from Tumlingtar at barely 390 m to Makalu Base Camp at 4,800 m is a long and extraneous vast range, to walk from steamy in the lowlands to snow storms at high altitude.
Walking north towards the Arun River to Sedua and Num, and then crossing Barun La (4110 m) into the upper Barunkhola valley, we reach for a close look at Makalu Arun valley. You can make even wilder trek by crossing Sherpani Col and west Col into the upper Hongu valley.

The highest point of this trek is Salpa Bhanjyang and also we can visit Hindu holy Lake Salpa (3414 m). there. This is a marvelous and easy trek for trekkers who do not want to encounter a lot of tourists on the trail but equally enjoy beautiful scenarios, splendid views of Silverly Mountains. The tempting views of Arun River and the other valleys can be seen on the way of trekking terraces. This region is merged with an incredible diversity of natural beauty, people and its culture.
Due to its isolation and lack of tea houses, only a very few trekkers travels around here. Sherpa, Rai and Limbus are main settlers in this area.
